Calvert's Gift Farm, Sparks , MD
Our Family owned farm is located in Sparks, Maryland. The farm has been certified organic by the Maryland Department of Agriculture since 1994. We pride ourselves in our crop diversity and the quality of food we produce on our farm. Heirloom and open pollinated vegetables are our preferred seed stock. No genetically altered seeds, plants, or materials are used on our farm. We believe "organic" means more than just no pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers. We utilize extensive crop rotations, minimize off farm inputs and rely almost totally on natural systems for produce safe, healthy food in an environmentally sound way thus ensuring the viability and future of our family farm.

Flying Plow Farm , Upper Falls , MD
Flying Plow Farm is a small diversified vegetable and livestock farm is nestled along Little Gunpowder Falls within earshot of the historic Jerusalem Mill Village. Minutes from downtown Baltimore, Flying Plow Farm is easily accessed from Route 1 and Interstate 95. We use sustainable farming practices that incorporate aspects of organic and biodynamic farming. Our goal is to produce local food for our region while caring for our land, vegetables, animals and community. We strive to create a truly sustainable farm, both agriculturally and financially. Our CSA runs from May-Nov. Pick-up is at the farm Tuesday or Friday from 2-6 pm. $700/full share. $450/half share.

Kayam Farm at Pearlstone, Reisterstown , MD
Kayam Farm organically grows healthy food for the Pearlstone Center and greater Baltimore community, while offering both Jewish and nonsectarian hands-on agricultural and environmental education. We hope to reconnect people with their food and with the earth, inspiring social and ecological responsibility in the Jewish community, greater Baltimore, and beyond. Kayam Farm’s 5 acres cultivates organically grown vegetables, culinary & medicinal herbs, fruit orchards, vineyards, berry & asparagus patches, and small grains. The Kayam program also includes interpretive trails, wildlife habitat and ecosystem restoration areas, and a plethora of environmental education programs.
