LambFeather Natural Soap Company , North East

We make soap that is beautiful and good for you. I use only ingredients that I would put on my own body (and do since I use every product that I make). My products bring the goodness and purity of nature back into everyday living. I don't make products that are "in" or "trendy" because a lot of them require ingredients that are not conducive to good healthy skin. Our bodies are designed to work perfectly with a minimum of care when we use simple, natural products. Simplicity is sweet. My goal is to provide a product that is hand made in small batches (just like in the old days) with quality and love instilled in every piece.

Provident Organic Farm , Bivlave , MD

Provident Organic Farms is a part of a Community Supported Agriculture operation, or CSA. In a CSA, members invest in the crops before the season begins so that they finance the up-front expenses related to growing the produce for the CSA. In exchange, as the harvest comes in, the farmer supplies each household with a weekly supply of fresh, organically grown produce. The farmer uses all of his knowledge and skill to grow healthy, delicious vegetables, using sustainable agriculture practices, and members enjoy the bounty. Spiritual Food for the Millenium , Bethesda , MD

SFNM, a project of the School of Life, aims at addressing pressing issues of everyday living in relationship to the basic needs of humankind within a different frame of social interaction. As the name indicates its focus is on food as perceived both in its material form and in its subtle form as ideas and concepts born of the spirit. Community Supported Agriculture and a Mail Order Service are the venues to implement the objectives of a new equitable society where market forces are replaced by human understanding, solidarity and cooperation, and they on their turn operate under the same principles in their relationship with Mother Nature to ensure the sustainability of the planet and good living conditions for the human race and the rest of creation. These objectives are pursued by community building, ongoing education and linking producers and consumers. SFNM promotes, sustains and defends the quality of true food necessary for good physical and spiritual health by ensuring a supply of top quality Biodynamic and organic fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes and dairy products thereby establishing a close and direct relationship with carefully selected and very unique farmers and providers.
